The music release of “Aashayein” turned out to be far more unusual.After John Abraham sang the number he had diligently rehearsed, the girls forced him and the band back on stage for more.

“It was simply crazy. I think we underestimated John’s pull and his pursuit of excellence. I thought he’d come on stage croon a few lines, shake his hips in tight trousers, blow kisses and melt into the night. No way,” Elahi Hiptoolah, executive producer of “Aashayein”, told .

“John arrived at 3 in the afternoon for the technical rehearsal. By the time the evening came, he was fully prepared. And so was the audience. It was all calm peaceful and romantic with a 3,000-strong audience waiting quietly by the seaside,” she added.

The event took place Wednesday at the Heritage Property in Bandra. Elahi says that they were not aware of the fact that the music launch of “Love Story 2050″ is also taking place.

Wednesday saw the music launch of Love Story 2050 at the JW Marriot in Mumbai.

There were Priyanka Chopra, Harman Baweja, Harry Baweja, Anu Malik, Javed Akhtar and more on the launch of Love Story 2050.

But the media and VIP crowd had come to hear songs from the upcoming sci-fi/romance flick, music that producer/director Harry Baweja described as “futuristic.”

With beeps, bells and whistles over pulsing Bollywood beats, the songs seemed very much a medley of modern and futuristic.

“No one can predict how music will shape up in the future,” Baweja added. “But we’ve tried to accomplish something which might be very similar to it.”

Five hits in sequence have increased Katrina Kaif’s popularity not only in the industry but also with the male populace.

While the cricket fever has caught on in the country because of IPL, but the cricketers are crazy about Kat. Ishant Sharma first confessed that he had a crush on Ms Kaif. Kaif- Ishant crush is already in news and here comes the next clincher. Not only Ishant but Australian cricketer Adam Gilchrist too has confessed to nursing a crush on the gorgeous actress. When Adam is not playing or watching cricket, he is checking out Bollywood stars, most likely Katrina. “I haven’t seen any of her movies, but I like Katrina. She is a cute girl. Katrina has a different kind of charm,” he says. From Ishant to Adam, looks like Kat’s driving them all crazy. We hope boyfriend Salman Khan won’t mind it.

The movie, ‘Love Story 2050′ introduces Harman Baweja , the son of filmmaker Harry Baweja, who is the film’s director. Priyanka Chopra is the film’s leading lady. Boman Irani and two kids Aman and Rushita are cast in supporting roles.

Dr. Yatinder Khanna is a scientist. He has developed a time machine that can transport a person into another era and period.

Neetu Chandra has done what the most of leading actresses are doing today—kissing their leading man.

She has shared her first on-screen lip lock with Abhay Deol for their upcoming flick Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (OLLO) after being in the industry for three years.

“Neetu has a kissing scene in OLLO. She has always believed in doing whatever is best for the film. She didn’t think twice about sharing screen presence with two other girls even as the stakes were high for Garam Masala,” said a source.

“Later she grabbed the opportunity when Madhur Bhandarkar finalised her for Traffic Signal. It was a big departure for her to get into a non-glam role after playing an airhostess in her debut film. When everyone was still contemplating about her next move, she took the risk of being one of the four heroines in One Two Three. This was why when she was told that OLLO would require her to kiss Abhay, she was game for it. She doesn’t believe in creating any unnecessary fuss!”

There have also been murmurs about Abhay and Neetu being an item. Wouldn’t that, too, have aided her in making her decision?

The new kisser boy in town is Rajpal Yadav. The ace comic actor has gone ahead and has done some hot kissing scenes for his forthcoming film Hastey Hastey director by Tony. “He plays a playboy in the film and whenever he sees a white skin girl he jumps and kisses her. And in the film he must kissed more than 25 to 30 times and that’s the highlight of the film,” says a unit member.
