Aamir Khan: Biography
Aamir Khan’s family members were from the film Industry. His father, his uncle has been in the film industry. His father is a producer, Tahir Hussain. His uncle Nasir Hussain and his cousin Mansoor Khan both were directors. And he has also acted in some of his films directed by Mansoor Khan. He has a brother named Faisal Khan. In 2000 a movie came Mela where both the brothers have worked together. Aamir was eight years old when he entered into the film-Industry as a actor . He started his career in the film Yaadon Ki Baraat (1973) as an child artist.
Aamir khan is known for his efforts on the characters he plays in the movie. By the effort made by him makes the character realistic. The sole he played in Raja Hindustani as a drunkard. He portrayed the character so well that character in the movie looked real. And in real life Aamir doesn’t drink.
Besides being an actor, he has also written the screenplay for the film Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke (1993). He has also done playback singing for himself in the successful film Ghulam (1998).
He has given the best in his every film. The characters played by him. Munna, the street tough (Rangeela) Bhuvan, the village idealist (Lagaan) ACP Rathod, police officer, (Sarfarosh) Raghu Jaitly, a news reporter (Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin), the lover (Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak), Amar, the clever boy(Andaz Apna Apna) DJ , fun-loving guy (Rang De Basanti), the college guy (Dil Chahta Hai).
His movies are inspirational with a moral in it.
Aamir is a perfectionist in nature. And because of being perfectionist. He believes in that any scene he would shoot should be perfect and for that he wants to re-shoot the scene but the directors don’t agree to him. In this way, he would end up clashing with the directors. In the film- Industry he is reputed as perfectionist. And this quality of him paid off when the movie Lagaan was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, 2001.
He also played the a role of a sepoy in the army of the British East India Company. leader of the Indian rebellion of 1857 (which the British called the Indian Mutiny).The movie named “The Rising” which has been made both in English and in Hindi
It was a big news when Aamir Khan got married. He married the girl named Reena. They had two children and led a quiet, publicity-shunning family life. She was also the producer of the movie lagaan. In 2003, Aamir Khan and Reena divorced.
