Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata won many a heart at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit Saturday as she recalled her travails when the Bollywood extremely popular actor Sanjay Dutt aka Munnabhai was in prison. Dutt was convicted for illegal arms possession in the run-up to the 1993 serial bombings in Mumbai was sent to the high-security Arthur Road jail in that metropolis last year, the last of the four occasions he was jailed.

Director Madhur Bhandarkar is upset that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given his film “Fashion” an “adults-only” certificate.

“Given the movie`s theme, I certainly never expected that the board would give it a `U` certificate, but I was sure it would receive a U/A certificate,” Bhandarkar told reporters.

Bhandarkar, who has co-produced the film with UTV Motion Pictures, describes “Fashion” as his most glamorous film. In this movie Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut, Arjan Bajwa and Mugdha Godse have lead roles.

The board members of CBFC objected to six scenes including Priyanka and Arjan`s lovemaking scenes and Priyanka and Kangana`s dragging at drugs scenes. The members asked Bhandarkar and his co-producer, Ronnie Screwvala, to delete them from the movie.

Preity and Salman will be seen in next movie, Heroes. Preity is very much impressed with Salman’s Sikh look and cannot stop raving the actor. Salman with turban perfectly look like a Sikh.

When the couple was shooting in London, some of their fans ran up to them and complimented their look. They broke into tongue-in-cheek jokes and teased Preity for playing Salman’s wife, but Preity replyed that she is proud to be his wife in the film.

Preity said that, this is the first time that her male co-star’s look made her go completely in awe of him. Salman is a Jat Punjabi in the film and everytime she will see him in that get up she will go, Wow! You look so good, Salman! and she has worked together earlier in films, but she has never complimented him ever. But Salman’s Sikh look swept her off her feet.

In the past, Salman and Preity have worked together in films like Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Chori Chori Chupke Chupke and Jaan-e-mann but most of them shattered at the box office.

Mostly seen in de-glamorised acting roles, former miss india Gul panag, recently caught public attention by posting in a black lingerie for the cover page of Maxim, a magazine for men. Gul said she did it to show off the “glamorous and real side” of her personality.

“It was not for a change in my image. I am very happy to have the image that I have.I am associated with a certain type of work and I don’t want to change that ever.But what is important is that people should understand that what they see on screen
and what I am are two different persons,” Gul told IANS.

Gul has received critical acclaim for playing offbeat roles in films like “Dor” and “Manorama Six Feet Under”, in which she was seen mostly in Indian attire.

Did you know Priyanka Chopra is scared of horses ? what happened there is horse riding scene in her new movie called Drona ? but her determination to give her best enabled to sail through scene in Drona where she had to ride a horse with Abhishek Bachchan.

Priyanka plays Abhishek’s bodyguard in Drona and tries to save him from evil in the film.In one of the sequences, she had to ride a horse and no one on the sets knew that she has a phobia for horses. She got very nervous seeing the horse on the sets.

“Since the day we started the shooting of Drona, Priyanka was very confident about her action and fighting scenes. She was very confident until we started shooting for this scene where she was supposed to ride a horse. She suddenly got very edgy with the idea of riding a horse and that was when we realised that Priyanka was actually scared of horses,” said director Goldie Behl.
