Deepika Padukone and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming flick Love Aaj Kal has tied up with ICC Twenty20 World Cup 2009. Saif wants to promote his home production with ICC Twenty20 World Cup starting from June 5.

Aamir Khan starrer “Ghajini” is going to be second longest movie of this year after “Jodhaa Akbar”. It has a longer story to tell than is considered healthy for multiplexes but the producer is unperturbed.

“It’s not the length. It’s the performance. You could have a really boring two-hour film. On the other hand you could’ve a really gripping film that’s three hours long,” producer Madhu Mantena, who also co-produced the super hit Tamil version of “Ghajini” with Alu Arvind.

I didn’t want to play the character looking like an international model because she’s basically in another profession. So she can’t really have the figure of Victoria Beckham, can she? I had to look more filled up. Again, for my next release Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Salman, I play a wife. So I wanted to look more filled up. Not that wives can’t be curvaceous. Salman Khan’s movie is about to come….Everybody is waiting for the release of Yuvraaj desperately. This film is made up with a budget of 50 crore and is releasing on November 21. This movie is shot in Europe, which revolves around three brothers, Deven Yuvraaj (Salman Khan), Ganesh (Anil Kapoor) and Danny (Zayed Khan). They played sons of a billionaire father and brought up in three different environments. In order to take over their father’s wealth, they are constantly fighting and playing games with each other. However, when a girl named Anushka (Katrina) who is a cellist comes in to explain them a power of relationships over the power of money, they all have a change of heart.

Yuvraaj is Salman’s first movie with Subhash Ghai. In this movie he plays the role of Deven Yuvraaj, a chorus singer in an orchestra who is in need of money to win over his billionaire beloved Katrina Kaif.

Aditya Chopra’s well guarded secret story of his forthcoming flick starring Shahrukh Khan and newcomer Anushka Sharma is finally out.Shahrukh Khan’s different look, that of an ordinary boring government employee has evoked quite some curiosity from people and now that the story is out, all curiosity will fizz out.

A source at the Yash Raj Films revealed on the condition of anonymity that RNBDJ is a romantic tale of an older man Shahrukh Khan his young teenage bride. The source says,

“There is a big age difference between them and they are not what you’d call a perfect couple. They are merely stretching their marriage with no real romance in between them. They are two very different people. There’s a reality dance show called Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi — which is the main backdrop of the movie. The show is on the lines of popular television show, Nach Baliye.”

Oscar nominated director Deepa Mehta has said ‘No’ to Big B, and signed Akshay Kumar to play the lead in her next film-Komagata Maru.

As sources disclosed that Big B couldn’t do the film since it is a Canadian Production and their government expects the actors to have a Canadian citizenship, therefore the film has gone to Akshay Kumar.

Komagata Maru is an epic film based on a true story of the ship Komagata Maru from India to Vancouver in the early part of the last century with 376 passengers on board, searching a new life in the promised land. It is a film about high level government intrigue, duplicity, racism, military engagements, court battles, and assassination. It is about a man’s courage that challenged the largest empire in the world. It bears open the heroism of Gurdit Singh, who dares to have an impossible dream, a life of freedom, equality, and dignity.
