‘Jaane Tu…’ got a superstar opening: Aamir
Light college flick “Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na” (Aamir Khan’s nephew Imran’s debut film)got an opening response as strong as ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak‘ (Aamir’s debut film).
Aamir Khan, who is also a co-producer of the film, said at a press conference,”It got an opening like superstar Shah Rukh or Hrithik’s films get. Movie’s fresh look and young star cast had made it so much popular”.
Imran, actress Genelia D’Souza and director Abbas Tyrewala,were also present with Aamir in press conference.
Aamir added, “The main creative mind behind the movie was Abbas, and the only thing I did for the film is that when Abbas come to me with the script I said it is a great script, so do it”.
But Abbas said that Aamir is a kind person and he helped me at various situation during the making of movie.
Sachin Shah, a manager of KT Multiplex in Mumbai, said audiences took Imran as the new chocolate boy on the big screen so the 1st show of movie was housefull.
Imran said that he is a star’s nephew so there were so many expectations from him and he will perform his best for the expectations of his fans.
Adarsh, a trade analyst, said that the film got a flying start and collecting near 100 % at the box office on its first day.
