More than thoda enchanting

“THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC”, a film that gives you a massage to look back. This film is just like the light-hearted, feel-good cinema created by legend directors like Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Chatterjee.

This movie explained a simple story and forces you to smile even if you walked in with a frown.

THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC is not containing the most original script, but the sweet moments in this movie raise it to a watchable pick.

Kunal Kohli have done a great job for this movie as he done for “HUM TUM” and “FANAA”. Kunal has shown his maturity with time.

THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC is one of those films you’d like to watch with your family, without any hesitation. After seeing the movie, you will feel happiness.

Saif Ali Khan, as Ranbeer, a leading industrialist, is a single person because he lost his love and now facing a difficult situation. In a court judgment, he is responsible for to care four orphan children, but children don’t want to live with a man they hate and want revenge from him. The children and Ranbeer are very unhappy.

One day, when kids pray to God for help and He sends a childlike and lovable angel for their help.

Rani Mukerji, as Geeta, comes into Ranbeer’s house as new caretaker and then starts a drama of fun, emotions, magic and love.

The car accident and the court judgment give motion to the story. The mischievous tricks played by the kids to worry Saif, are funny most of the times. Another trouble point of movie is Ameesha’s character, but Rani’s entry in the story gives speed to the movie. Her interaction with the kids, are the actual heroes of this movie, is enjoyable.

In the second halh of movie, Saif bonds with each of them and the turning point, an incident that makes the kids see Saif differently, is simply great.

Kunal Kohli has worked with many big stars, but the real test is to handle four unknown kids and here he deserves good points. Thanks to Kunal for not including rona-dhona to make it a perfect ‘family film’.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’s music is average, just one track; ‘Pyaar Ke Liye’ is good. Sudeep Chatterjee’s cinematography is very good.

Saif fits into his role very well and his acting is completely natural. It’s always watchabe that Rani justices to her talent. She’s lovable. Ameesha has nothing to do in movie.
Each of four kids is terrific, but the cute Sikh kid called Iqbal (Watch him break into the ‘Main Nikla Gadi Leke’ from GADAR), has perform very well. Rishi Kapoor and Taraana are okay.

In one sentance, THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC is a simple family story told very effectively, at the box-office, it can do better.

So go and watch it!
