Mallika of the useless Nakhras, Mallika Sherawat, was on sets of Sa Re Ga Ma PA recently, to promote her movie, “Ugly Aur Pagli”, and the first thing she seems to have said after hearing a little sarcasm from the mentor Himesh Reshamiya, was “Should I expose you in front of the people?”. Himesh looked stunned at this and kept quite after that.

You would never think that Salman Khan would find it difficult to get filmi guests for his show Dus Ka Dum. He recently invitesd Mallika but she refused to come on his show or even share screen space with him on the show.

Mallika was asked to be a part of Dus Ka Dum during promotional exercise for her upcoming film, Ugli Aur Pagli. But the moment Mallika heard of the offer, she turned it down. And though the producers tried hard to persuade her, she told them categorically that she was not interested.

Mallika Sherawat will play the lead role in ‘Naagin - The Snake Woman’ - the first Hindi film to be directed by a Hollywood director!

Jennifer Lynch, daughter of four-time Oscar nominee David Lynch, is all set to shoot that film which has always intrigued the West - the ancient myth concerning the Nag-Naagin (snakes) relationship.

Ratan Jain of Venus Records and Tapes is co-producing it with Vikram Singh and Govind Menon.

‘Venus is known for its commercial family entertainers. There is lot of work happening between Hollywood and Bollywood and the film with Jennifer starring Mallika is a step towards it, ‘ said Jain in a press statement.

Commenting upon Mallika, he said: ‘It was a wonderful experience working with Mallika in ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam’. And hence it was natural that we take it further. She is a thorough professional. And I hope that with this film, Venus will be associated with more international films in the near future.’

Writer-director-producer Jennifer Lynch has approached Bollywood’s sexy personality Mallika Sherawat for the role of a snake woman in her next Hollywood production’s Nagin.

This movie is based on the mythology of the snake woman who can take human form by her power.

According to sources in the Bollywood industry, Lynch is arranging for the two stars and as soon as they will be available the shooting will begin in India.

After positive talk with Mallica, announcement of final cast will be soon.

Rahul Bose will play a multi-character role in a forthcoming film, Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam.

He will play six different characters in the movie directed by Sanjay Chhel, a press release said.

Before Rahul, Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan played 10 different roles in Dasavatharam,

Rahul will essay the roles of a daredevil officer of the intelligence agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), Mughal prince Jehangir, an underworld gangster, a Hyderabadi Nawab, a dumb deputy of an underworld don and also a don’s bodyguard.

Mallika Sherawat and Paresh Rawal will also feature in Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam.

Mallika sherawat just rocks in the song ‘Jab pyar to kiya to darna kya’ in ‘Maan Gaye Mughall-E-Azam’ produced by Ratan Jain. The costumes, the ambience on the sets and Mallika’s graceful and stylish adaa reminds the actress Madhubala.

Mallika of course considered it to be an honor to be compared to the legendary beauty and expressed her gratitude to Chhel, who had penned down the song and Anu Malik, who has scored the music for the film.

Mallika was excited about the ‘Pyar kiya’ number right from the start and took personal interest while coordinating the costume’s creation with designers Ashley Rebello and Anita Dongre. Mallika made choreographer Piyush Panchal made her rehearse consecutively for six days.

But as luck would have it, Mallika fell sick on the first day of the shoot. She was running a high temperature and was advised bed rest . But the excitement to shoot the song overruled her sickness and she completed the song in four days despite high fever.
