In an exclusive interview, Farhan Akhtar discussed about his forthcoming period film, Voice from the Sky ….

Ques : So, you are coming down to shoot in Kolkata…
Farhan : Yes, I will be shooting early next year. But, I need to make a few more trips to the city before that. Voice from the Sky is a period film that’s set in the Kolkata of 1905. It’s a very simple heart-warming story of a boy who is looking for his mother. It’s a film about
a child and the invention of the telephone.

Ques : Why did you opt for Akshaye Khanna, when your first choice was Saif Ali Khan?
Farhan :There were certain issues between Saif and me that we couldn’t work out. So, we thought it best to shake hands and move on. I then did some soul searching. Akshaye (Khanna) would be good for me and the film.

After a very good response to Saif and Kareena’s show in Sharjah, the Morani brothers, the organisers, inspired to organise new shows across Europe and the Middle East.

Mohammed Morani said that now are conducting a full series of shows across Europe and the Middle East, because there are so many Saif-Kareena’s fans in these places.

People like to watch the wonderful pair of Saif and Kareena after the success of Race and Jab We Met.

Both the stars gave solo performances and the results are amazing as the show had a crowd of 20,000 people.

People are looking very keen to see the hit pair of Saif and Kareena. And now, this time the couple too excited for the next tour for Europe.

Hi-profile celebrities and real life lovers Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will be performing their first solo show in Sharjah. The deal marks Kareena and Saif’s venture into doing shows apart from films and endorsements together.

Bringing Kareena and Saif together for live performance was the hard work of Morani brothers who are going to script and direct Jashan 2008 to be held at the Sharjah Stadium in Dubai.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan’s relationship has taken another remarkable step.Kareena is going to be a part of the Pataudi family’s yearly reunion in Saif’s ancestral village, Pataudi, in Haryana.

Saif confirmed the news and said, “Yes, Kareena has been invited to Pataudi this December. Our family gets together every winter. Since Kareena is now a part of our family and my parents are extremely fond of her, she has been invited.”

About Kareena he said, “This relationship is ‘IT’ for me. Today I feel very settled and happy. Though at times, I do feel a bit lonely when Kareena isn’t around. Of course, I do go through my share of bad days when I feel down. But overall, my life is going great guns. I am now looking forward to settling down with Kareena. We’ll get married shortly. We are just waiting for our work load to lessen, so that we can give quality time to our marriage. Also, her family has to be ready for our marriage.”

Saif said that he would wed Kareena if only she would say yes. And it clear that she hasn’t due to her career.

But she is also planning to get married sooner as possible.

The son of the Nawab of Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore Saif has two children from his first wife Amrita Singh.

But both broke up in 2007 after which Saif dated Italian model Rosa Catalano. Then Saif made a pair with Kareena at the time of working together in Tashan.

It seems that the season of break-ups has started in Bollywood. Some hot couples is going to be single like : Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Even there is reports of Saif Ali Khan trailing Kareena Kapoor to wherever she is, Saif can’t bear the separation for too long.

Recently, Saif flew from London to Amsterdam to be with Kareena, who was doing a show, Temptations Reloaded, with Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anusha Dandekar.

Before flying to Amsterdam, Saif was promoting his film, Thoda Pyaar-Thoda Magic in the UK with Kunal Kohli.A friend close to Saif Says, “Saif spent much quality time with Bebo. Apparently, because he did not want to be spotted, he did not sit with the audience, he was enjoying himself backstage.”

Mohammed Morani, producer of the show, said, “Yes, Saif did come to my show,” and then went on to talk about how his show was a hit with the audience.
