Monica Bedi was in the limelight for her links with underworld and now she is basking in the glory of Bigg Boss on Colors TV. Showtime Magazine reveal hot new look of Monica Bedi and not so spicy side of her story.The Big Boss housemate is also the September cover girl for the Showtime magazine.
She has spoken about her life before and after she fell in love with the underworld don Abu Salem.
The interview was conducted just before Monica went into the Bigg Boss house and includes details about her early life, failed Bollywood career, meeting with Salem and what happened thereafter.
“He’s a kind-hearted person. I don’t know about his past; I don’t know what wrong he’s done. I can only talk about what I saw of him,” she says about Salem. “He was very possessive of me and he really respected me a lot. It wasn’t a time-pass kind of a relationship, neither from his side nor mine.”
Her love for the don landed her in a lot of trouble, including time in jail. “It was only after I started living with him that I realised we weren’t meant for each other,” she says in the interview.
Freed from jail in 2007, Monica has been trying to get on with her life. “I thought people in Mumbai would accept me but even when I’m on the roads, I can sense them discussing me behind my back. There are some sniggers; some taunts. I just ignore them and carry on,” she says.
