Who’s the box-office King?
According to the source from Bollywood, there is an question,” Who is Bollywood’s reel king?” had been asked by trade pundits.
And everybody knows that it’s very tough to give answer, because film industry is ruled by Aamir, Salman, Saif, Shah Rukh, and Akshay Kumar.
But film industry experts feel that Amitabh Bachchan is the real king of Bollywood. In the age of 67, he is also working in fils like God Tussi Great Ho, Zamaanat, Shoe Bite, Aladdin, Talismaan , Exclusion and Shantaram.
SRK is also in the row with last year superhits Chak De! India and Om Shanti Om, and with forthcoming Dulha Mil Gaya, Billo Barber, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and My Name Is Khan.
Akshay is also in the competition with recent super hit film Singh Is Kinng. It has earned Rs 90 crore worldwide and is become the biggest hit of this year. And five other films Kambakth Ishq, Chandni Chowk To China, Blue, Eight by Ten, International Hera Pheri are coming.
Some Bollywood’s people are also thinking about Aamir with Taare Zameen Par, and Ghajini is coming soon.
Salman Khan’s also in the competition with God Tussi Great Ho, Wanted: Dead and Alive, Heroes, Yuvraaj and Main Aur Mrs. Khanna.
And now new star Shahid Kapoor’s in the row with recent Kismat Konnection, Paathshala and Milenge Milenge .
So, now, you have to say that who’s ruling the box-office this year then? But trade analyst, Taran Adarsh feels that the Bollywood has four kings : SRK, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan.
